In the Premier Companies project, our team successfully tackled the task of creating a custom report within the Matomo reporting solutions analytics platform. This report was tailored to meet our client’s specific needs, providing them with easy access to the data they care about in one central location. By consolidating this information, we empowered our client to have a comprehensive overview of their business performance, enabling them to make informed decisions based on key metrics.

To enhance the reporting process further and ensure convenience, we implemented a scheduled email report for the custom report we manually created. Setting up scheduled email reports aligned with our client’s preferences allowed them to receive regular updates and insights directly to their email inbox. This not only kept them informed but also enabled them to stay proactive in managing their business effectively.

Behind the scenes, we accomplished this by creating a custom plugin in Matomo and adding it to the sidebar menu. This plugin allowed us to generate a reporting menu, generate custom reports, and convert them into widgets, displaying valuable data on the Matomo dashboard.
