We had the pleasure of collaborating with car.co.uk on their website analytics implementation. As part of the project, we successfully set up Matomo, a robust analytics platform, to provide comprehensive insights into their website performance. Our team seamlessly integrated the Matomo tracking code and configured it to track crucial user interactions and behaviors. Notably, we implemented custom event tracking for buttons, capturing valuable data on pageviews, page scrolling, form submission, newsletter subscription and tracking social interactions. To gain a deeper understanding of user journeys, we meticulously set up funnels to track successful conversions and identify areas for optimization. Furthermore, we enhanced their analytics capabilities by implementing heatmaps and session recording, allowing for a visual representation of user engagement and an opportunity to observe individual user sessions. This comprehensive suite of analytics tools empowered car.co.uk to make data-driven decisions and optimize their website effectively. We are proud to have contributed to their continuous growth and success in the digital realm.
